Wind is Howling and the Water is Roaring!

   What’s up everybody!  Well it’s finally Saturday!  The wind is not being user friendly.  Winds are 15-20 kt NE with rough conditions.  Water Temps are 62-65 degrees.  All of the piers are reporting slow so far.  Would be a great day to drink beer and get wind burn I guess!  Nearshore reports of Bluefish yesterday.  Inshore has had a nice Speckled Trout run along with a few Flounder.  The Little Bridge reports Trout and Croaker.  Whatever you do today make sure to hold on to your wig, it might blow away and get hit by a car! lol  WE HAVE A TON OF CALCUTTA SHADES!  TAKE A KID FISHING!  ~SnS Crew~

Windy Windy Day On The Sandbar!!!!

  Good morning fishing friends.  Well looks like the next couple days are gonna be wind washouts.  Today we have N winds at 20 to 25kt.  The Ocean is pretty angry this morning but atleast the Water Temps are on the rise with temps between 61-66 degrees.  The Little Bridge on the causeway is reporting Speckled Trout and Wind Knots.  The Outer Banks Pier has a couple of guys trying but no luck yet.  The Jennettes Pier has some people trying to not get blown away.  The Nags Head Pier reports all the fishermen have been blown away.  The Avalon Pier is reporting Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Beer Drinking.  Yestedays Offshore report is Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi), and Wahoo.  Yesterday the Inshore boats caught Sharks and a citation Cobia.  The Nearshore fleet caught Bonita, Spanish Mackeral, and Bluefish.  Today is a good stay in bed and sleep day that or start gearing up for summer fishing.          TAKE A KID FISHING!!!!                                  Support FREE And OPEN Beaches!!!                  Tight Lines From The SnS Crew…..

Welcome To The Rain Forest Err I Mean Sand Bar!!!

   Good morning fishing friends.  Well its another cloudy day in the rain forest err I mean on the sandbar.  The fishing has been pretty good so far this morning.  Today we have NW wind at 5kt becoming N late this morning, then increasing to 15kt this afternoon.  The Ocean is pretty calm today with the Water Temps between 58-63 degrees.  The Little Bridge on the causeway is reporting Black Drum and Speckled Trout.  The Outer Banks Pier is reporting Croaker, Sea Mullet, and Bluefish.  The Jennettes Pier is reporting Spot, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Gray Trout.  The Nags Head Pier is reporting Bluefish, Sea Mullet, and Speckled Trout.  The Avalon Pier is reporting Spot, Speckled Trout, Sea Mullet, and Bluefish.  Yesterdays Offshore report is Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi), Sailfish, and 1 88lb Bigeye Tuna.  Nearshore reports Spanish Mackeral and Bluefish.       TAKE A KID FISHING!!!!!!!                           Support FREE And OPEN Beaches!!!                    Tight Lines From The SnS Crew…

Skates and Blues… Water Please Warm Up!

    What’s up everybody!  I hope everyone enjoyed a beautiful weekend!  We have a slight wind out of the South with fairly clear water @ 58 – 62 degrees.  Avalon reports Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Specks, and Skates.  Nags Head reports Bluefish and pretty women!  Outer Banks has a few people out catching skates.  Jennette’s reports Bluefish all day!  The little bridge reports small trout this morning.  Offshore yesterday was slamming with plenty of Dolphin, a few Yellowfin, and The Dream Girl landed some nice Cobia!!!  Check out their website for pictures!  http://www.dreamgirlcharters.com/      Have a great Monday!  TAKE A KID FISHING!!!  ~SnS Crew~

Pretty Water…. Blues All Day!!

     What’s up everybody!  What beautiful weather we are having on the sandbar!  Water temps are 62-64 degrees with pretty clear water.  Winds are calm for a change… just a breeze out of the South West.  Avalon Pier reports alot of Bluefish and beer drinking!  Nags Head is slaying the Bluefish and working on their tans!  Outer Banks Pier ain’t feeling too hot with just some Skates coming over the rail.  I have a feeling their luck will change here shortly!  Jennette’s reports pretty water with an abundance of them chomper Bluefish!  The Little Bridge whacked the Trout this morning and are seeing some Spot and Croakers.  Offshore yesterday nice Yellowfin and Mahi were brought home for dinner.  Inshore has been doing just fine with plenty of Speckled Trout, the Flounder bite is picking up too!  Make sure y’all take care of the mama’s tomorrow it is Mother’s Day!  TAKE A KID FISHING!!!  ~SnS Crew~

Looking Like A Beautiful Day Is Upon Us!!!!

  Good morning fishing friends.  Well today is shaping up to be a beautiful day, its supposed to warm up some but we shall see.  Today we have NE Wind at 5 to 10kt.  The Ocean is calming down a lil from yesterday and the water has cleared up a whole lot.  The Water Temps are between 62 to 66 degrees thats right warm up baby.  The Little Bridge on the causeway is reporting Spot, Croaker, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum.  The Outer Banks Pier is reporting Bluefish.  The Jennettes Pier is reporting 8-10lb Bluefish and Flounder.  The Nags Head Pier is reporting Spot, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.  The Avalon Pier is reporting 1 Flounder.  The fishing should pick up this afternoon, since the tide is now coming back in.  For the Offshore boys yesterday we had reports of limits of Dolphin (Mahi) and Yellowfin Tuna.  I hope everyone is ready for a nice weekend of fishing if the weathermen are correct which they normally aren’t lol.        TAKE A KID FISHING!!!!!!!         Support FREE And OPEN Beaches!!!!               Tight Lines From The SnS Crew…….

Beautiful Day On The Sandbar!!!!!

  Good morning fishing friends.  Well today is shaping up to be an amazing day even though its a lil windy.  Today we have NW winds at 15 to 20kt diminishing to 10 to 15kt this afternoon.  The Ocean is kinda rough and dirty today.  The Water Temps are slowly on the rise with the temps between 61-65 degrees.  The Little Bridge on the causeway is reporting Spot, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout.  The Outer Banks Pier is reporting Sea Mullet and lots of them.  The Jennettes Pier is reporting Spot, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Sea Mullet.  The Nags Head Pier is reporting Sea Mullet and Bluefish.  The Avalon Pier is reporting Croaker, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.  Yesterday the Offshore boats were surprised by storms and were forced home early but not before catching Dolphin (Mahi) and Yellowfin Tuna.  If you can I suggest getting outside and enjoying this weather.      TAKE A KID FISHING!!!!!                    Support FREE And OPEN Beaches!!!!!!!!                   Tight Lines From The SnS Crew…..

Wind Is Still Kicking… Fish Are Still Eating!!!

   What’s up everybody!!!  Wipe that Monday sleep out of your eyes… I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and got your line wet at some point.  We have NE winds blowing every bit of 20 + with water temps at 62-65 degrees.  As far as the conditions… you already know!  The Little Bridge had a Trout bite earlier, Black Drum have swap’d out now.  Avalon said it was slow and drinking shall start early today!  Nags Head had a good run on Sea Mullet, Blues, and a 3lb Flounder yesterday!  Outer Banks tells me they are catching nice size Sea Mullet… bait of choice… BLOODWORMS!   Jennette’s is pulling up Bluefish.   Offshore has been good with runs of Mahi, Tuna, and Sailfish.  Inshore they are catching Flounder and Bluefish.  I don’t know if y’all have seen all the shrimp in the water but they are packed in tight.  Have a good day and TAKE A KID FISHING!!!           ~SnS Crew~

Windy Sunday on The Sandbar… Who Cares!

    What’s up everybody!  Well we have some wind blowing out of the NE today @ 15kt.  Water temps are 63-65 degrees and the water is a little bit on the rough side.  At one point yesterday the water temp was up to 68 degrees!   Avalon says it’s pretty slow so far, everyone is standing around telling tales.  Nags Head tells me they are catching some Blues and 1 keeper Flounder.  Outer Banks is telling me Dogfish and rough water.  They saw some big Blues but they kept on getting it!  Jennette’s reports some Bluefish and wind swept hair!  The little bridge has there usual Speck and Black Drum bite going on.  Offshore yesterday was great with limits of Yellowfin, citation Blackfin, citation Mahi Mahi, and Amberjack!  Inshore the boys decked Blues and Flounder!  Y’all have a great day now.  Let me know what you’re catching!   TAKE A KID FISHING!!!           ~SnS Crew~
